Stewardship: The Foundation strives
to actively monitor and maintain the
condition of its many distinctive properties.
Volunteers are always needed for activities
such as annual onsite inspections,
walking of boundaries and routine clean-up.
In 2010, the Foundation was chosen
to participate in a program to develop
a baseline documentation protocol for
protected properties. Simultaneously,
the WFC launched a long-term initiative
to develop this documentation for each
of its properties and is seeking volunteers
to assist in developing these reports
which will document the scenic, agricultural
and ecological conditions of the WFC
properties.
Community
Garden: The
WFC is seeking volunteers to
help manage the garden in the
summer.
Calendar
Committee: The
Calendar Committee is seeking
volunteers to assist in the production
and sales of the 2012 fundraising
calendar.
Volunteers will work with other
members
of the
committee to select photos, design
the calendar, and assist in sales.
The Calendar is one of our most important
yearly fundraisers. It supports our
operating costs, as well as land
acquisition, stewardship and other
environmental projects.
